A Pink Princess House

Dreading the day when I have to deal with a house full of PMS'ing teenagers. For now I will cherish all the sweet things they say and do. I know all to well the hormonal roller coaster thats awaits me around the corner!

Back to normal

For four short days I lived the life of a bachlorette..Awe it was heaven! I didn't have to shave my legs, lounged around in my sweats, didn't get woke up by the constant snoring, Sarah only had one parent to be nice to instead of being nice to one and hateful to the other(that was nice),
I didn't fix one meal. I stocked up on kid cuisine TV dinner for the girls and lean cuisine for myself. Best of all I stayed up till 2 am Saturday night scrapbooking(I kept Sarah up till 12am to ensure that I would get to sleep in a little.LOL) It was so nice.. Then the Mr. Came home and I was back to having 4 kids to pick up after! Sarah was happy to see him at first, but then she switched back to her my mommy mode and I could tell DH was a little hurt, but 4 days for a 2 year old is a long time and apparently she was making him pay and letting him know that this should not happen again!

Six Pack of Silkies

Our Silky had puppies. Bailey is the best dog we have ever had. She is very tolerant of Sarah and that must take a lot of self control to keep her teeth in her mouth and not on Sarah's arm.. We got Bailey 2 years ago when Jordan's dog Chester died. We wanted a Yorkie, but after a lot of research we decided that with young kids, a Yorkie wouldn't stand much of a chance of survival in this house, So we went the next size up.. Jordan had 11 puppies to choose from and she choose the smallest of them all. They all looked the same at that age, so the lady put a little colored ribbon around her neck, we payed the deposit and left.. 3 weeks passed so slowly for Jordan and when the day came to claim our little puppy Jordan could barley control her excitement. Our smallest puppy was now the largest..I know that we more than likely didn't get the one we picked out, but it must have been fate, because this little dog loves Jordan so much. The only bad habit she has is not being able to keep her tongue in her mouth. I'm sorry, but I'm not one of those people that let there dogs lick them all over the mouth.. YUCK!! Do they realize what those dogs can lick? She is so gentle with her babies. Not overly protective of them with us, but if your a stranger, watch out..She may be little , but she has a mean bite.lol

Happy Birthday J

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORDAN!!!
My first born is turning 9 today.. WOW, It seems like yesterday her tiny little hand was wrapped around my finger as we sat in that hospital bed alone together for the first time after all visitors had left.I was so overwhelmed. I didn't know what our future held or how I would take care of this little girl that I had prayed for all my adult life. All I knew was that I would love and protect her. I remember unwrapping her a half million times trying to memorize every inch of her...She has always been so happy. Such a great child to go through all the "First" with. I am truly blessed.

Did you know??

Did you know that candy is good for your colon? This morning when I got up, the girls were eating their Halloween candy and I said "you all need to put the candy up, your not eating it for breakfast" and Jordan said "Didn't you know that candy is good for your colon"? I bet that is one most moms never hear. After explaining what a colon was, in 8 year old terms of course, she decided she might come up with a better reason to eat candy for breakfast next time!

UGH!!!

I knew it would happen sooner or later!! Those little germ ridden kids gave me there nasty bug. After bragging that I never get sick from them, someone decided it would be so funny to let mommy feel the pain of the killer bug! Last night I felt like I was going to DIE, and honestly I didn't care. All of a sudden I was so tired, my body started to ache and my tummy started to cramp along with a few other things I rather not mention. Today I am still very achey and the meds I have been taking for the headache aren't even making a dent.. I do have pain pills, but I know the damage Sarah can do to this house when I doze off for 5 minutes. Just last night as we dozed I awoke to find her doing some sort of bowling on the kitchen table with a push toy and cups filled with a days worth of milk and kool-aid. I am not the type to sleep when my kids are up. I never do it, last night was a first. I really thought she would sleep too, since she has a cold and ear infection, but no she has some awesome ideas to try out while unsupervised. I was so happy to see DH when he got home at 8. I handed off the kid and went to bed to finish dying in peace. So I wonder, is this the flu? I have never had the flu or the flu shot.. If this is anything close to it, I think I will go through the line twice!

Lipstick Obsession

Sarah Is in LOVE with lip stick. I give up on having my own. No matter where I hide it, she finds it and I know she has a stash some where. If we walk past the make up section at the local wal-mart she will get so excited and say " I need lip stick" So I will find the cheapest, lightest pink ( I know, not fair). And buy it.. In the car she remembers her lipstick and there is no waiting till we get home. Not even when your this tired! (oh and it wasn't as light as I thought)!

Two Fairy's and a Clown

Sarah went on her first goblin parade. Her first year she was too little and last year she was sick.. I think it was all a little overwhelming, but once that bag was full of candy, we had one very happy little girl that would not let anyone help carry the bag that she was having to drag.. It was way too cute!
